Evening, Weekend and Drop-in Daycare in Glen Burnie, MD
Bright Starts offers evening care from 6:00 pm until midnight, weekend care by arrangement and single drop-in days, for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are a Registered Family Child Care Home (MSDE license #258780) at 131 Midland Rd in Glen Burnie, caring for no more than 8 children at a time. Call (240) 583-0911 to check availability.
Evening care, 6:00 pm to midnight
For parents who work late shifts, evenings or a second job. Daytime care ends at 5:30 pm, 5:30 to 6:00 pm is a short transition, and evening care runs from 6:00 pm until midnight, Monday to Friday. Weekend evening care is available by request, as needed.
- A late snack is served. Parents pack dinner.
- Quiet activities, reading and rest in a calm, home setting. Children can sleep during evening care. Infants sleep on their backs in a safe crib, following our SIDS safe-sleep policy. Toddlers and older children rest on cots.
- Please pick up by 11:59 pm. Evening care closes at midnight.
- Photos and updates in the Brightwheel app, just like during the day.
Weekend care
Weekend care is available as needed, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to midnight. Call us to arrange it; each request is handled case by case.
Drop-in days
Need care for a single day? We offer drop-in days when space allows. Because we care for no more than 8 children, call ahead to check for an opening. Before your child’s first drop-in day, all required Office of Child Care and Bright Starts forms must be completed, signed and dated.

Help paying for care
